Worldwide, Dr. Oetker owns more than 40 national companies. They are decentrally organized and geared to the local needs of the customers in each country. Aside from the production sites in Germany, Dr. Oetker also runs manufacturing plants in Europe, the Americas, as well as Africa, Asia and Australia. Dr. Oetker is 100 percent family-owned and has been based in Bielefeld, Germany, since its founding in 1891. Since 2017, Dr. Albert Christmann has been Chairman of the Executive Board and is responsible for corporate management.
