Dr. Oetker expands its International Executive Board

<Bielefeld, July 18, 2024> Dr. August Oetker Nahrungsmittel KG is expanding its International Executive Board. With effect from August 15, 2024, Carl Oetker will join the Board and assume responsibility for the Purchasing Department.

After studying business administration with a focus on finance in Maastricht, Turin and London, Carl Oetker initially worked in an international management consultancy and in investment companies. In 2020, he joined Dr. August Oetker KG as assistant to the General Partner and member of the Group Management, Dr. Albert Christmann, and in 2022 took over the Finance, Production, Supply Chain, Human Resources and IT departments as Managing Director of the Dr. Oetker national companies in the Netherlands, Belgium and Luxembourg. By joining the International Executive Board of Dr. August Oetker Nahrungsmittel KG, he will take over responsibility for the company's global purchasing from the Chairman of the Executive Board, Dr. Albert Christmann. Until December 31, 2024, he will continue to work as Managing Director of the Dr. Oetker national companies in the Netherlands, Belgium and Luxembourg, which he will supervise as a coach in the future.

He will be succeeded in the management of the Dr. Oetker national companies in the Netherlands, Belgium and Luxembourg on January 1, 2025 by Britta Zahnert, who has been responsible for the company's international controlling as Senior Executive Manager Controlling International at Dr. August Oetker Nahrungsmittel KG since 2017. Parallel to her training as an industrial clerk, Britta Zahnert completed a degree in business administration and then worked in various commercial functions of an international company. In 2007, she began working for Dr. August Oetker Nahrungsmittel KG in the auditing department, and since 2011 she has successfully held various positions in cross-functional project and post-merger integration management and international controlling.
